Paterson Skywalk is a one bedroom cottage with a queen double bed in the bedroom and a single trundle bed you can use for a third person. It is set on a bush block with a beautiful view of the Paterson Valley, with the river and the village in the foreground and the bush covered hills behind. The host often stays in a detached studio 20 metres from the house with separate driveway access. All the photos in this listing were taken on the property.
I am a father, an outdoors man, a communications technician, a business owner, a community contributor, and an owner builder. Paterson Skywalk is a vision that took me a decade to turn into reality. I bought a bush block with the Paterson River and village in full view in the foreground and bush covered hills behind, and built a home. Now the time has come for me to share this beautiful home with others who have a similar appreciation of natural beauty and a sense of place. I imagine that spending a few days at my beautiful home will be the holiday you need.
Paterson is a semi-rural village halfway between Maitland and Dungog in the Hunter Valley. The house is on the village boundary overlooking the river. Within walking distance is a train station, two cafes, two pubs, a supermarket and butcher. You can leave your car behind and come here on the train from just about anywhere. I can pick you up and drop you back to the station if you have lots of luggage, or if you bring your car there is free parking at the front door and I can be gone before you arrive.
