A luxurious eco-friendly 'tiny house on wheels', the only one located adjacent a 'pink lake' in Australia. Perfectly situated opposite picturesque pink salt lake Lake Bumbunga in the small town of Lochiel, a 90 minute drive from Adelaide. Experience the stunning pink salt lake views at dusk and dawn. Features include a solar-power, odourless bio-composting eco-toilet, rainwater tank, reverse cycle air-conditioning, functional kitchen, cosy living area, and two loft bedrooms furnished with high quality authentic Japanese futon beds. There are also a variety of entertainment options provided including free wifi, blue-tooth music speaker, board games, cards and karaoke microphones. The front patio has a relaxing 'egg' chair' that overlooks Lake Bumbunga - perfect for sunset drinks. The tiny house comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Guests have the entire place to themselves.
Michael is a South Australian, with many years of experience in the International tourism industry. He is well travelled and knows what things are sought after by guests. He enjoys showcasing authentic South Australian experiences and scenic natural locations to visitors to the State. He prides himself on customer service and is available 24/7 for guest queries and assistance if required.
The only accommodation situated near to the famous pink lake of Lake Bumbunga allowing spectacular morning and evening photos to be taken. Access to the pink lake is a short walk directly opposite the tiny house. Lochiel is ideally situated between the Clare Valley gourmet food and wine region and coastal towns and scenery of Yorke Peninsula. It is a great base from which to explore the wines of the Clare Valley region to the East and the scenic coast around Wallaroo and Moonta Bay on Yorke Peninsula to the West. The coach service from Adelaide stops almost directly in front of the house 3 times per day.
