Wow! What an awesome place, Large room with balcony overlooking the Marina, Tea and Coffee facilities, It really was an incredible stay, I only wish we had stayed longer. A credit to the staff that maintain the rooms and the reception lady was extremely helpful, Having worked in the Tourism and travel industry and many decades in hospitality, this set a benchmark that others should emulate. While traveling to Wallaroo I contracted food poisoning and had to stay an extra couple of nights to recover. The manager happily rearranged bookings so that we could stay in the same room. The domestic staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed as well as making sure we had enough linen and cleaning products.

Wallaroo has a lot to offer.

Wallaroo has a lot to offer. Many pubs and some restaurants. Our stay was close for a short walk to the main street. Some lovely coffee shops, Bond Brewery, Pizza and Pubs. On the weekend bands and music in some of the pubs. Lots of short drives to coast and local towns like Moonta and Kadina.

Always enjoy our visits to Wallaroo.

Always enjoy our visits to Wallaroo. Nice dinner at the Angler's Inn, good brunch at the Shores Eatery, lots of history around the area and the Bond Store is definitely worth a visit for gin and craft beer lovers. We didn't eat there but will next time as menu looked great. Was a windy weekend, otherwise would have fished off the jetty. Overall, another great visit.

There are plenty of fish to be caught of the wallaroo jetty...

There are plenty of fish to be caught of the wallaroo jetty ( watched a guy catch a huge king fish ) also there is a protected swimming area to the right of the jetty with shark netting and a pontoon in the middle for jumping off. The towns people are super friendly and it's quite a relaxing atmosphere.

Great beaches around Wallaroo. 6 hotels / pubs. Lots of history. Grassed lawns and play areas. Take push bikes some really nice trails. Boat ramp, jetty. Drive your car on the beach at North Beach. Caravan parks. Great place to spend time and enjoy.

We had the perfect beach weather and Wallaroo exceeded our expectations being a smaller country town with all the facilities needed by us. The location of our apartment enabled us to enjoy beautiful sunrises. It was quiet. All food experiences were great.

A quiet little town.

A quiet little town. Long Beach / North beach is a beautiful expanse of white sand in a wide bay with shallow water. can drive onto the beach as well. The jetty is a great spot for fishing ( if that is your thing) and apparently a good spot to catch Blue Swimmer Crabs. Some interesting history with previous copper smelting , Welsh miners and some interesting Maritime stories. The little town museum is fascinating. There are a few cafes and restaurants , with Coopers Alehouse at the Marina always available for a good feed and The Bond Store in the Main Street which has an onsite Brewery, Distillery and Restaurant.

Great location in the heart of Wallaroo allows for as easy walk to the shops, town beach and wharf. Room was clean, bed comfy, good blockout blind so you could sleep as long as you wish. Good size TV. Kitchenette has appropriate items to ensure you can prepare an easy breakfast and lunch.
