Wonderful location within easy walking distance to the beach, even with small children. Nearby splashpark was a huge success! Fabulous array of children's toys and games, as well as a cubby house, climbing frame and firepit, all of which we used during our week. Moonta is a beautiful old town with lots of historical landmarks.

This place is absolutely perfect in every way! The location is fantastic, and you can see the ocean right from the balcony. Everything in the house is spotless, and it's fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Honestly, this is the best place I've ever stayed at. It's ideal for a getaway with friends. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location in a quiet street with easy beach access. The home was beautifully equipped and the addition of an abundance of books, games and toys was a wonderful bonus. Great host with excellent communication who went out of his way to return an item we accidentally left behind.

Was very happy with stay. Easy check in, no contact with staff needed but contact details are provided if needed. Quiet location near beach. Only thing it missed was perhaps a little playground for kids to play on outside.

Moonta Bay Caravan Park, great place to stay , all types of accommodation, Great location , make sure you visit the Olde Cafe excellent food, and staff . Open Breakfast, lunch and Dinner with beautiful sea views especially at sunset .Love the free splash park, Jetty, great for walking, fishing, crabbing, safe swimming area , a Beautiful beach in low tide ,go looking for rock crabs, walking on the beautiful sand ,just sitting taking in the beauty Great clean area for all ages a must visit

We loved the shops and RSL on Main Street.Hotel restaurant was very busy on the Sunday but staff worked so hard to make sure everyone got fed as soon as possible. Ideal base for visiting other towns on the Copper Coast.

Went swimming every day. The sunsets were just so beautiful. Took a small barbecue with us and ate outside. Seafood, prawns and fish with salad. Visited Port Hughes, mainly just swam and relaxed. Just what we needed

Moonta Bay is lovely and being able to stay somewhere and visit our Daughter was helpful. Thought the cost was a bit much considering we couldn't use the air-con at night when sleeping as it was far too loud and so out of date.

A beautiful spot, lovely beach, with the jetty & pool and water park a great bonus to the experience. The town had lots to offer, food & shopping wise without being overcrowded or too touristy. A lovely base location to explore surrounding towns and areas with ease.

Functional jetty and plenty of parking, local 24 hour gym was surprisingly great inside, close proximity to cafes, kiosks and pubs all of which provided very good meals at reasonable prices, plenty of public toilets facilities in clean working order atm which you don't often find in the CBD. Town is filled with character, pride and is very accommodating to tourists.
