Designed for comfort, the apartment is fully self-contained and ideal for couples, small families or friends. Relax after a day of exploring on the comfortable lounge with a large Smart TV, or convert the sofa into a queen bed if needed. The separate bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with quality linen, soft lighting and an adjoining ensuite bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, while the large communal BBQ area is perfect for outdoor dining. A washing machine is also available to freshen up clothes after days spent at the beach or hiking. You'll have exclusive access to the apartment, with convenient self check-in via lockbox. We'll send arrival details before check-in and are always available by phone or message if you need anything during your stay. Sandy Point is renowned for its safe, beautiful beach, excellent fishing, scenic walking trails and relaxed atmosphere. Just five minutes away, Shallow Inlet offers calm waters, spectacular sunsets, abundant birdlife, sand dunes, boating, windsurfing and picnic facilities. Wilsons Promontory National Park is only a 35–40 minute drive away, with world-class beaches, hiking trails and native wildlife. The nearby towns of Fish Creek and Foster (around 20 minutes away) offer supermarkets, cafés, galleries and local shopping. Walking and cycling are wonderful ways to explore Sandy Point, while a car is recommended for visiting Shallow Inlet and Wilsons Promontory. The area boasts great fishing, either straight off the beach in the surf or at nearby Shallow Inlet, where boats can also be launched. The inlet has picturesque sand dunes, and is a great playground for kids, whilst also being one of the top windsurfing spots in the whole of Australia. Wilsons Promontory National Park, the southern most point of the Australian Mainland is a 35-40km drive from the house, and makes for a fantastic daytrip. Fish Creek and Foster are the nearest towns, each about 20 minutes away. Fish Creek boasts several art galleries, and is home to works by Celia Rosser. Great place to go whilst in sandy point is Shallow Inlet only 5 minutes in the car, drive in on the sand and back your car up the embankment. Bird life is plentiful with lots of pelicans, large Pacific gulls, some brilliant views of the prom, BBQ, toilets, it's a special place to enjoy. Main beach in Sandy Point is a spectacular beach a short walk from the house. It’s a very safe beach for kids though often does get a decent swell. Sunsets at both areas are sensational
