Your rooms and open tropical dining area, overlook a magnificent view of the Endeavour River that meanders to the western escarpment where often the horizon is lit up with regular sunsets. The property sits high on Cooktown’s Grassy Hill and overlooks the main road from the town centre to the wharf.
We have one of the best views from our property in Cooktown and we are delighted to share this casual tropical lifestyle with you. To enjoy a cold drink on the deck and watch beautiful sunsets is what we love best and we are sure you will to. Whether you enjoy an evening BBQ on the Weber provided while taking in the Vista or enjoy a meal at a number of great dinning spots in Cooktown your stay will be memorable.
Riva-La-Vista is a quiet sport at the end of a cul-de-sac but is about 800 metres from a great Hotel and two Clubs where meals are available . The Cooktown museum is great value and the local IGA has won many awards for its exceptional price and service.
