The apartment is fully self contained and is located on the ground floor. Your hosts live in the home above you, so we are always available to answer your questions and provide you with directions and anything extra you may require. Your apartment is only minutes driving from the centre of Warrnambool and its many restaurants or the beach and its attractions. We are located next to the Warrnambool Golf Course on ten hectares of wetland, so birds are many and varied. You can hear the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach and frogs calling to one another in the wetlands. At night you can stare at the stars of the Milky Way and we shall point out the southern cross. And there are rabbits.

We have both been teachers in our early careers. Robyn taught kindergarten in Geelong and Robert was a secondary school teacher in Geelong at Matthew Flinders, Oberon and the Gordon. Robert rejoined the family business and became a professional fisherman/diver. Now both retired, we enjoy reading, travel, dining and wine.

Warrnambool has a beautiful and rugged coastline. It is located at the end of the Great Ocean Road. Sweeping sandy beaches and rocky bays carved out of sandstone and basalt and limestone. It can easily be your base for exploration of Port Fairy ( 25 minutes drive away ) or The Grampians (Dunkeld is an hours drive away ) or The Twelve Apostles ( an hour's drive ). Coonawarra is a bit over two hours drive. The Botanic Gardens, the Hopkins River Falls, the Port Fairy rail trail, the Lady Bay shared walking and bike path, the Warrnambool Golf Course... And our Restaurants offer quality and variety.
