Sancreed is a recently renovated miner's cottage located in the heart of the historic Victorian gold-mining township of Walhalla. It is fully self contained and is the ideal base for your visit to Walhalla. It has a wood fire as well as R/C AC for year round comfort. Sancreed has spectacular views from the veranda looking over "the Junction" and Walhalla's iconic band rotunda. Enjoy quality accommodation in this stunning location! (Check our website for special deals.) Sancreed is dog friendly and even has a secure side yard for small to medium sized dogs.
Brian's family have been associated with the township of Walhalla for over 150 years having owned land in the town for most of that time. Brian and Joanne were married in Walhalla and their children are 7th generation associated with the town.
Walhalla is a picture perfect historic township in the mountains a mere 2 hours drive from Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. It is the ideal place to escape and recharge the batteries for a few days. There is ample off-street parking at the rear of the cottage for 2 cars.
