BEACH HOUSE PATROLLED with LIFE GUARDS thru summer - PET FRIENDLY - STROLL to beach, cafes, kids playground and pool.
A 3 bedroom cottage, located at Shellharbour South Beach. Step out back gate onto grass reserve and small beach carpark to beach path and flags.
Suits 1 large or 2 small families or friends. It's a simple, beach style cottage, with fresh new beach decor. Fully fenced for children and small dog.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen and dining area and a TV room.
1st bedroom and 2nd bedroom have Queen beds and the 3rd room (semi-private) Kids Bedroom has 2 Singles and Single Bunks. (The top bunk is best suited for a child or small adult.) Maximum 8 people.
All linen and towels, for 5 lower beds are provided with beds made up for your arrival. (The top bunk is not made up, but linen is provided if 8 people are booked.)
Outside laundry with washing machine, extra shower and toilet. The kitchen has dishwasher and full cooking facilities. Inside dining and outside table/chairs on newly built timber deck plus gas BBQ.
Doonas, pillows, blankets provided.
NO SCHOOLIES, BUCKS, NOISY PARTIES
My parents built the cottage 50 years ago, and have extended and rebuilt over the years. It makes for an old fashioned beach-style family holiday or friends get together, in a lovely seaside South coast village.
Apart from the swimming and fishing, there are famous surf beaches nearby at The Farm as well as great scuba diving at Bass Point, just 5 minutes down the road.
The new Shellcove Yacht Harbour is 10 mins walk out the front gate to a pedestrian path to the marina. Tavern, shops, restaurants, cafes boat rides available.
The original boat harbour is only 5 minutes out the back gate with playground, cafes, IGA etc and slipway for launching a boat.
We have plenty of off street parking.
There is a new Woolworths in Shellcove or 10 minutes drive to Shellharbour Square, a very large shopping centre. They have a wonderful fish market, definately worth a look if you enjoy seafood.
For some sightseeing further afield, Minnamurra Falls, Kiama Blow Hole, Berry, Kangaroo Valley, "Babe" country, Jamberoo Fun Park and the Southern Highland towns of Bowral and Robertson make a lovely days outing.
The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, with permanent neighbours, so no "bucks" party or "schoolies" bookings accepted.
Maximum permitted is 8 persons (including children).
