Stunning, self contained Studio Apartment directly across the road from beach and amazing sunset views and only 10 minutes from the McLaren Vale wine region. Studio Southport is a private wing of our very special oceanfront home overlooking the Onkaparinga River mouth at Port Noarlunga South. The entire property has recently been renovated and boasts contemporary industrial design, recycled timber and Asian-inspired features. Enjoy a great night sleep in the lush king bed, breakfast at the red gum breakfast bar overlooking the ocean and red ochre cliffs of Pt Noarlunga, or perhaps a glass of wine as the sun sets over the ocean, followed by a day at McLaren Vale. We provide fresh breakfast items for you to prepare - homemade bread, fresh milk, ground coffee, tea, free range eggs, tomatoes, muesli and condiments.
Donna and Cameron are warmhearted people who enjoy people and travel and love where they live! They have been hosting for 7 years and live in the main wing of the house, with their goofy labradors - Denzel and Elly! We are here to provide as much or as little support as you wish for. Donna is an international development consultant who has lived and worked in Asia and the Pacific and who continues to have the privilege to travel extensively for her demanding but immensely rewarding work. Cameron is a logistician and jack of all trades who has taken a sabbatical to complete the renovation of their much-loved home, and who will be your go-to man throughout your stay.
Port Noarlunga is a beachside suburb 10 minutes drive away from McLaren Vale wine region and 40 minutes south of Adelaide. There are a wide range of local restaurants at Port Noarlunga and surround suburbs as well as in McLaren Vale wine region. There are also lovely local galleries and boutique speciality shops. The jetty and reef are fabourite areas for our guests and beach towels, picnic basket, blanket, fold-up chairs, snorkeling gear available for use - just ask us! We can also assist to plan your wine tasting agenda.
