Fire up the BBQ, pour a glass of local wine, and settle in by the outdoor fireplace, or bring your four-legged friend along and make it a truly relaxed getaway. You can also start your mornings with a locally produced breakfast basket, featuring fresh eggs from the property, and local bread and honey; the perfect way to fuel up before exploring. The Barn is private and peaceful, offering a cosy retreat that feels worlds away while still being just a short drive from Metung, Lakes Entrance, and the Gippsland Lakes it's ideal for a romantic weekend, a small escape with your four legged best friend, or a base for exploring East Gippsland’s beaches, villages, and natural beauty.

Hi! We're Sarah and Kevan, both originally from the UK, but now live in beautiful East Gippsland. We converted The Barn about 2 years ago and really enjoying hosting our guests.

Nungurner is surrounded by rolling hills and the sound of the nearby ocean (and cows!). It's extremely close (6 mins drive) to Metung and is a fantastic base to explore the local rail trails, walks, wineries, restaurants and of course the Gippsland Lakes.
