The Chichester cabins were built in 1998 and family owned and operated since 1998. The cabins have recently been refurbished and renovated.

Property info

The Chichester Retreat is the perfect escape to the foothills of the Barrington Tops National Park. The two bedroom self-contained cabins offer a luxury stay for couples, families or friends. The cabins are each equipped with two queen bedrooms, log fireplaces, television, double spa bath, air-conditioning, outdoor fire pit and kitchen. All bed linen and towels are supplied. The Chichester Retreat is within the Barrington Wilderness Estate which allows our guests access to a stunning 180 acres of property to explore. The estate offers a communal salt-water swimming pool, BBQ facilities, tennis court and an abundance of native Australian animals that can be viewed from the balcony. You will find us only a 20 minute drive from Dungog and the Hunter Valley wineries only an hour away. For those making a longer trip we are located 2.5 hours from Sydney and 1.5 hour from Port Stephens.

Neighborhood info

Attractions at our doorstep include the Chichester Dam, the Jerusalem Creek trail (Barrington Tops National Park) and the historical town of Dungog. We also recommend out guests explore the Blue Gums Loop within the Barrington Tops National Park
