Located in the heart of Broke, the cottage is within easy walking distance to the local general store and coffee shop, as well as the playground and skate park. The property is surrounded by beautiful country gardens and mature trees, attracting a variety of birdlife and adding to the relaxed, rural atmosphere. For wedding guests, Adams Peak Country Estate is just minutes away. The cottage is owned by part of the Fox family, who also own Adams Peak. If you need help organising transport or wine tours, we’re happy to point you in the right direction with trusted local providers.

Hi, I’m Karyn. My partner Matt and I are part of the family behind Adams Peak Country Estate here in Broke. We purchased this cottage in early 2026 to create a relaxed and welcoming place for guests to enjoy the region, whether you’re here for a wedding, wine weekend or a quiet escape.

The Foxman Cottage is located in the village of Broke, Hunter Valley. The Main Highway Route (Fastest): Take the M1 Pacific Motorway north toward Newcastle. Before Newcastle, take the M15 (Hunter Expressway) and follow it until you reach the Lovedale Road, Wine Country Drive, or Hermitage Road exits, which lead toward Broke. The Scenic Route (Tourist Drive 33): A popular alternative is taking the M1, then exiting at the Calga Interchange to follow Tourist Drive 33 through Peats Ridge and the historic town of Wollombi, which takes you directly into the Broke-Fordwich wine region. From Newcastle/Airport: Head west along the M15 highway and follow the signs for roughly one hour.
