Welcome to The Haven Cottage Point located in Dreamtime Bay. This peaceful, heritage waterfront escape is only a short drive from Sydney yet a world away. The cottage is one of the original Fishermans cottages within the Ku-ring-gai national park which retains its charm and character offering modern comforts perfect for couples or small families. Access to the cottage is by inclinator taking you directly to the waterfront. Wake up to native birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the bay or explore the waters with adult and child kayaks. The private pontoon offers direct water access, ideal for boating, great fishing, swimming, paddling or simply relaxing. For those who come by boat the pontoon can accommodate a 15ft boat. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor bbq, you can bring your own food and enjoy drinks and meals on the deck while soaking up the views. During winter enjoy the original open fireplace in quiet and comfort. The national park offers great bushwalking opportunities. It is important that children are supervised at all time near the water. The owner resides on the premises for any assistance. It is important to note no additional guest can access the property it is strictly for those who have booked. We look forward to welcoming you to The Haven
The hosts have lived in Cottage Point many years and have a good understanding of the national park, native animals, birds and fishing. They are a wealth of knowledge which you can tap into.
The accomodation is surrounded by bushland and tranquil waterways. Guests can enjoy local dining options, including the Cottage Point Inn and Kiosk just a short stroll away. You can enjoy bush walks and peaceful wildlife spotting right from the doorstep. We respect our neighbours and the environment.
