Ideal for short stays, business trips or travellers visiting family and friends, the room offers generous space in a calm no-through-road setting, with free on-site parking. Guests have exclusive use of a dedicated shower room, powder room and kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. These facilities are separate from, and not directly attached to, the bedroom. A simple breakfast is provided, and the kitchenette can also be used to prepare a light meal. A Nespresso machine with complimentary pods and a kettle with tea are available in the bedroom, so guests can enjoy their first coffee or tea in the comfort of their room. The guest room is next to the main entrance, with convenient access via a digital door lock. It is located away from our main living areas and master bedroom, providing greater privacy within a hosted home. The lake, reserve and boardwalk are a short walk away. We enjoy welcoming guests from Australia and around the world while respecting their privacy. We live in the house and are happy to help with local recommendations or anything you may need during your stay, but we also understand that many guests simply want a quiet and independent stay. When we're not working, we enjoy gardening, home improvement projects, camping and travelling. Lionel is an engineer specialising in energy transition (electrification using renewable energy) and is always happy to chat about sustainability, while I enjoy painting and gardening. We also share our home with a friendly, well-mannered medium-sized dog. She is quiet, affectionate and enjoys meeting new people, but we understand that not everyone is a dog lover and we ensure guests can enjoy their stay comfortably.

Just a short walk away, a scenic 5 km shared path loops around the lake, making it ideal for walking, jogging or simply enjoying nature. Kingsway Shopping Centre is within walking distance for groceries, cafés and everyday essentials. Regular buses connect directly to Whitfords Station, providing train access to Perth CBD and Joondalup. Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City, one of Perth's largest shopping centres, is only a short drive or public transport trip away.
