We are Ranger - we curate and manage boutique holiday and executive stays in Byron Bay. As your hosts we look forward to making sure your stay is a pleasant and memorable one. Whilst you have complete privacy, we are available throughout your time with us to help with anything extra you may need. For simple check in there is a secure lock box located at the entrance to the studio. We will provide you with all information needed prior to your stay.

Property info

Situated just out of the centre of town The Local Studio offers privacy and luxury over 2 levels. Quality linen and a king koil king sized bed make for a great nights sleep. Beautifully furnished, with a newly renovated kitchenette and an oversized bathroom with a large freestanding bath. We also have a couch in the main bedroom that fold out to a king single bed - making the local studio perfect for small families and close friends. Please note that the Local Studio is connected to the main house by an adjoining double doors that are locked on both sides and sound proofed. There are also stairs up to the main bedroom and bathroom.

Neighborhood info

The Local Studio is in a leafy area of Byron Bay and whilst being only 1.6 km from the centre of town, the local studio is very peaceful and private. The location is within walking distance to Tallows Beach (800m, 9 minute walk) and only a short 2-3 minute drive to the many shops, restaurants and cafes in town, Clarks Beach or The Pass. Byron's best surf breaks are all in close proximity. The iconic General Store & The Roadhouse Cafes are also within easy walking distance. Take a short drive into the hills to experience the many delightful rivers, rainforest reserves and quaint townships of the north coast of NSW. For those interested in using public transport, the bus stop is located just around the corner on Bangalow Road. The Ballina/Byron Gateway Domestic Airport is a 30 minute drive south of Byron Bay, Gold Coast Domestic/International Airport is a 45 minute drive to the north. Brisbane International Airport is an easy two hours north. Regular shuttle bus services are available door to door to and from airports.
