The Mill House is perfectly located right beside the historic Richmond Bridge (circa 1823) in the beautiful village of Richmond 20 minutes outside Hobart. On the banks of the Coal River it has lovely gardens and views of the bridge and river. The Mill House Cottage nestles at the rear of the main house, with private off street parking, and it is fully self contained.
As owners of the beautiful historic Mill House we are excited to share this property with guests. We swapped the chaos of living in Sydney in 2015 for the fresh air and village life of Richmond, and couldn't be happier!
Richmond is a must see for most visitors to Tasmania. It oozes history and there are plenty of amazing activities to experience. Wonderful bakery and cafes, galleries, gift and sweet shops, wineries and farms, Many visitors stay here to drive down to Port Arthur, or to enjoy a peaceful break.
