Located just north of the Maroochy River here you can throw a towel down on beautiful beaches, minus the crowds. Marcoola night markets are held every Friday from 4pm to 8pm, Marcoola Twilight Market is a celebration of food, music and good times. Feast on dumplings, doughnuts, German hotdogs and tacos with the soundtrack of waves crashing onto the beach behind you. On Saturdays, from 8am to 12pm, you can load up on the region’s freshest produce at the Farmers Market.
