While staying in Walhalla you will experience the serenity of a real bush environment. It is very peaceful and private with the only sounds the birds and the rushing water of Stringer's Creek below. You are 10 minutes walking distance from the pub and about 20 minutes from the rest of the town. The popular Goldfields Railway, a historic train ride, is very close by - about a 1 minute walk away. There are other activities to enjoy such as Gold Mine tours as well as Ghost Tours, not to mention visiting the historical sites of the Walhalla township. There are modern amenities at The Coach House, with grid-connected electricity (a fairly recent addition - as of late 2022), WiFi, television, and heating. There is parking for 3 or 4 vehicles in the driveway. We are on tank water and there is a septic system, so staying at The Coach House means being mindful with water use: we ask all guests to conserve water wherever possible. As you arrive at Walhalla, The Coach House is the first house you will see from the road, along with Stringer's Cottage.
