But that's not all, when you stay at Wildnest Wilderness, you've got access to 800 acres of unspoiled bushland to call your playground. Please note: The final 3.5km to the tiny house (5km to the glamping tents) is via an unsealed country road, and conditions can vary depending on the weather. While many guests arrive without issue, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended to ensure a comfortable and stress-free journey. We also ask that your vehicle is fitted with a spare wheel. As with any rural property, unexpected flat tyres can happen, and being prepared will give you peace of mind during your stay. Unfortunately, vehicles without a spare (including some EVs) are not well suited to the road in. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle is suitable, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’re always happy to chat and help you plan a smooth arrival. From time to time, our team may be onsite tending to the land - whether it’s cleaning, maintenance, or chopping wood - to ensure the property remains in pristine condition for all guests.

Frequent traveller for work and play, love weekends away and exploring new places with hubby. We started Wildnest during the pandemic in 2020 after losing all of our work and wanting a project to work on. We love providing meaningful and memorable experiences to people so this was our way of sharing this passion with the world.

Turondale is just a short (and beautiful) 30-minute drive from Bathurst. This picturesque locale, nestled near the Turon River, offers a tranquil retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. If you're a fishing enthusiast, the nearby Turon River promises an idyllic spot to cast your line and enjoy moments of quiet contemplation by the water. Orange and Mudgee (wine regions) are just over an hour away for day trips if you want to explore further afield.
