We adored our stay at De Zomere! It was in the perfect location, never more than a 5 minute walk from the main attractions of the town. It was also quiet and peaceful, and Frederick was so kind and welcoming! He clearly loves sharing his home and...

The house combines centuries of family and Bruges history with Frederik's eye for modern design - and you really feel both. Frederik will be your personal history guide for the house, town, and region if you let him, all over a delicious...

This was by far the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. The owner, Frederick, was extremely friendly and very hospitable. The B&B was so homey, and couldn’t be in a better location - central, yet tucked away in a quiet alley. The breakfast was...

This ancient house is tucked away on a quiet cup-de-sac close to the Market Square. Our host, Frederik, grew up in the house and has performed beautiful renovations.

House De Zomere is one of the five oldest houses in medieval Bruges, built even before Columbus reached the shores of America. It shimmers with more than 500 years of history and culture. For the first time in its history, the protected monument is now open to guests.
The house De Zomere is Frederik's birthplace. He lived there throughout his childhood with his two brothers and both his parents. In 1980, the house was renovated for the first time. 35 years later, Frederik decided to return there and convert it into a B&B. The works took 3 years and graphic designer Frederik left his mark in every nook and cranny. Each of the 5 guest rooms bears the name of a resident from his childhood.
House De Zomere stands right between Bruges' three great towers, barely 3 minutes' walk from the Grote Markt, the heart of Bruges. The garden house in the unique city garden can accommodate 10 bicycles. All the city's main attractions are within walking distance.
