"Went to Ostend to attend the Ostend Beach Festival. I enjoyed a sunny morning at the beach. It was quite crowded and windy that day, but still a great atmosphere. In the evening, I had a lot of fun at the festival. Overall, I had enough time to relax on the beach, explore the city, and enjoy the beautiful weather."

"Really nice stay. Good restaurant. Nice welcome. We had two chihuahuas with us. Stairs are real steep so careful if you go there with a bigger dog, you may need to carry them all the way upstairs :-). I recommend anyway cause it was a good stay on the whole."

"The WW1 history is the real draw. Despite being totally reconstructed, the town is full of character and the Last Post at the Menin Gate is a must see, very moving. Also recommend visiting St. George's Memorial Church just off the main square. Ypres is super convenient for visiting nearby WW1 sites."

"This is a little gem of a place, next to the rivers, lovely squared, architecture, parks and historic areas. Thoroughly lovely place to visit and explore and being on a train line there is easy access to Lille and other towns in Belgium. Also being only 1.5 hours from calais it's super quick to get there. Great little town."
