This region is especially known for cycling tours to the Kemmelberg. But also the Hoppeland bike route and the Poperinge mountain bike trails can be found here. For children, trips to Bellewaerde in Ieper and Plopsaland in De Panne are recommended. The wide beaches of De Panne can be reached in half an hour by car. For skiing enthusiasts, the covered ski run Ice Mountain in Komen is ideal. A total of 10,000 m² of ski slopes are available to you here all year round. Hiking opportunities are available in the Galgebos (Galge Forest), the Palingbeek and the Helleketelbos. Trips to art cities like Bruges and Lille (Rijssel) are certainly a welcome change. Of course, it is also wonderful to just stay in the house, or spend a leisurely day in the large garden.
