Stay overnight in this beautifully renovated 1920s listed building. A 15-minute walk from the historic centre of Bruges.
B&B Huis Billiet is small and cosy, with 3 spacious rooms of 40m2, 30m2 and 27m2. As a guest, you will enjoy the exuberant play of colours in the lounge and have breakfast in the original dining room of the house.
This B&B is the ideal way to combine a visit to Bruges with an overnight stay in a modernist house from the 1920s designed by the renowned Bruges architect, Huib Hoste.
In 1995, it was granted protected monument status by the city of Bruges. One of the first houses where Hoste experimented with De Stijl principles, it is characterised by its cubist character, use of concrete and bold play of colours in the interior.
In our architectural gem, we welcome guests since December 2022. Upon arrival, we make you feel right at home. A warm welcome and useful information are waiting for you. We live in the adjacent loft, so you can easily contact us with questions during your stay.
As purebred Bruges residents, we know the city like the back of our hand. We love living here and will gladly show you the way to hidden treasures, exciting activities, unmissable sights and atmospheric places to eat and drink.
To carefully restore the architectural-historical and socio-cultural value of Huis Billiet, we rolled up our sleeves a lot ourselves. We enjoy sharing the splendour of this house and our passion for Bruges' rich history and fascinating architecture with you.
You'll stay in a quiet, beautiful neighbourhood a 15-minute walk from historic buildings such as the Belfry. You also don't have to walk far for a bakery, supermarket, restaurants and breakfast spots. Bruges is a fantastically beautiful city, but is also a central base for a trip to the coast and for cycling and hiking in green surroundings.
