We like to receive guests, and recently we made from our hobby our profession : We started in the centre of Poperinge with a Guesthouse for 24 people : Skindles Guesthouse (situated in a historical building from 1729). we have 2 daughters (20 & 21 years) and we like to travel.

Relax & enjoy ! Really cosy holiday home situated in Flanders Fields, between Ypres - Poperinge & Heuvelland. The ideal location to visit Ypres, Poperinge, Bruges, Belgian coast, .... even France is not far away (only 15 minutes drive to the first village in France, and 45 minutes drive to Lille). The region is very welknown for the Belgian Beer (Trappist West-Vleteren, Sint Bernardus, ....) cycling, walking, horse riding, WWI (and II) visits,... Maison Marie is situated at the countryside. Birds are singing every morning, terrace with BBQ facilities, sauna, jacuzzi , nice view on the fields,.....

Maison Marie is situated between the triangle : Ypres, Poperinge & Heuvelland (Flanders Fields). The ideal location for visiting WWI (and II) battlefields, cycling, horseriding, enjoying from nature, really beautiful region and lots of activities to do. We will assist you with pleasure.
