Overlooking the medieval Menin Gate, this guest house is set at the canal that surrounds the historic city of Ieper. Menin Gate House : 2 holiday homes at the Menin Gate Your stay in the one of the Menin Gate Houses guarantees a unique experience. One could not stay any closer to the Menin Gate. Notes of the daily Last Post Ceremony carry into the beautiful rooms and bring you in the atmosphere of World War One. The houses are situated in Hoornwerk 1 and 2
Hosts are Benoit and Isabelle Mottrie. They like to share their WW1 passion with the guests. Benoit is also involved in the Last Post Association of which he is the Chairman.
The house is situated just at the Menin Gate Memorial.
