We are Andrea & Gaëtan. Originally from Brussels, we completely fell in love with this remarkable region, its rolling green valleys, majestic castles, historic abbeys, and enchanting ruins that tell the stories of centuries past. The Area: La Sparenthèse is located in the peaceful hamlet of Senenne, part of the municipality of Ciney, at the gateway to the Ardennes. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the region offers endless opportunities to explore nature, castles, charming villages, and outdoor activities, all just a short drive away. Open Thursday to Monday. • Il San Marino (Ciney) – Italian restaurant, 11 minutes by car. Open Thursday to Sunday. • Brasserie de Biron (Ciney) – Traditional Belgian brasserie, 12 minutes by car. Closed on Thursdays. Walking Trails: A beautiful hiking trail starts directly from the front door of the cottage. The La Natoye walk takes you through three picturesque villages in the region over a distance of approximately 20 km (around 5 to 6 hours), offering a wonderful way to discover the local countryside.
