Hakuna Casa offers a beautiful relaxing getaway 8 minutes walk away from the idyllic beach of Barra do Sahy. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacy and bakery are all within walking distance. Barra do Sahy is the perfect place to get back to nature.
I am from the UK and have been living in Barra do Sahy since 2014 with my Brazillian husband Renato. We are big nature lovers and have traveled and worked all over the world. We decided to settle in Barra do Sahy after discovering its beautiful beach and friendly community and what we love about living here is its proximity to nature and abundance of amazing beautiful beaches.
Barra do sahy is a small village with a very welcoming community. You can find here a selection of restaurants, supermarkets, hairdressers, a bakery, a pharmacy, a fishmongers and a few beach shops. Its main attraction apart from its beach is the beautiful island As Ilhas located directly in-front of the beach. This can be easily accessed by getting a taxi boat which are readily available from the beach. Barra do Sahy beach is a great family beach that has beautiful white sand and offers water-sports and barracas offering beach chairs and sun umbrellas whilst serving food and drinks. Its the perfect piece of paradise!
