In addition, without leaving the Island, you can walk along the trails or take our kayaks and paddle as far as you want. It's good to take the food and cook or use the barbecue, but Dona Rosa Restaurant does boat delivery directly in front of our pier, which is a great option for evening meals. You will be able to dive right in front of the house and with luck you will see the turtles that live nearby. Boat trips through Bahia de Paraty can be hired and they will come directly to your pier to pick you up, and the island offers hiking trails that can reach the fishing village or other beaches. We guarantee you won't forget the experience.!

Araujo is a small island with a separate fisherman's village 300 m away. from the mainland and located 5 minutes by boat from Praia Grande, at 6km north from Paraty. Is in Praia Grande where the cars are parked and the taxi boat service will take you to the property. The island has several beaches that can be reached by trail or by sea with the kayaks of the house. The village has a small bakery, a basic food store and two restaurants. For large purchases, it is better to head to Paraty, 6 km away. and in Praia Grande there is the fishermen's shop where they all sell fresh fish daily. In Bahia de Paraty, the tourist offer is endless. Numerous beaches and islands lie in front of the property and can be visited by hiring a boat trip or paddling if you are confident and the weather is good. The kayak clubs in town come from Paraty to Araujo paddling (5 km.). The complete tour of the island by sea is 6.5 km. At 900 m. from the house, on the mainland, is Praia da Rosa, only reachable by sea, and next to it, the Maria Izabel alembic, one of the oldest and most prestigious cachaçarias in Paraty. On the mainland, there are many waterfalls, trails, villages and cachaçarias with their stills, and Paraty's cultural offer is endless.
