Located on the shore of Great Slave Lake, the 5th largest in North America, and a short walk from Pilots Monument, where a great panorama of the city can be enjoyed. In the summertime, the Inn’s backyard and floating dock offers a natural and peaceful setting to relax and take in the view of the lake and the wilderness beyond. During winter months, the Inn’s lakeside location provides the dark sky desired for viewing the awe-inspiring northern lights. Each of the Inn’s suites have lake views and access to the dock and property. Guests enjoy the natural environment without sacrificing proximity to the city. John St. Louis is the establishment’s Innkeeper. John is an avid angler and has operated a fishing guide service in Victoria, BC. Having lived in Yellowknife since 2005, John now calls the North his home and enjoys making guests feel welcome.
