Bristow’s Inn incorporates the elegance of a classic Carpenter Gothic heritage home with small town Ontario friendliness, creating a quintessential Victorian experience. We provide quality accommodations for groups visiting the Tri-Cities. Enjoy the sound of the town clock chiming the hour, as horse and buggies drive by—all while being only 15 minutes from two world-class universities and the tech hub of Canada. With 6 well-appointed and comfortable rooms, we can accommodate groups of up to 13. We also have large indoor and outdoor dining areas, where guests can relax.

Elmira is one of many quaint towns in Woolwich, Ontario and is only a 15-minute drive from Waterloo and a 7-minute drive from St. Jacobs. St. Jacobs and Elmira are home to the largest population of Mennonites in Canada. Often seen around town on their horse-drawn buggies. Visitors flock to St. Jacobs and Elmira for their quaint atmosphere and down-to-earth sensibilities. Both villages are famous for artisan goods and organic fare, seasonal festivals celebrating local goods, farmers’ markets and the historical buildings and establishments that remain unchanged yet functional.
