Company info

Charlene Patterson retired from the cruise ship industry and moved to Port Alberni in 2010 with the vision of building a lifestyle in a welcoming community with potential. She bought a big 100+ year old church and revived it into what is well on it's way to be Port Alberni's favourite community social hub. She named it Char's Landing, because Charlene previously worked in the airline industry, then the marine industry and now after travelling the world, Char has landed and planted her feet firmly on the ground.

Port Alberni is the community with a heart ! Char's Landing is the Community Social Hub and live Concert Venue, right across the street from City Hall, The Capitol Theatre (live), The Paramount Theatre (film), Little Bavaria (most loved restaurant in town) and just down the hill from Quality Foods (groceries), and just up the hill from Harbour Quay (McLean Mill Steam Train & Frances Barkley / Lady Rose Marine).
