Very clean and the decor was great! An extra feature we enjoyed was the dining table was on rollers and tucked away nicely under the entertainment stand, so we pulled it out when needed and had lots of room to move around. The air conditioning worked very well as it was one of the hottest days this summer. The free mini gold with your stay was awesome and the outside seating area with BBQ is awesome. Very close to beach and restaurants. I would recommend this place for sure. And the front counter receptionist was so friendly and kind, I believe his name was Juper.

Clean inside and out. Grounds well kept. Parking is right outside the rooms and well lit. I have a dog. He is house trained and clean. There is no smell from other animals in the rooms. That’s important to me as other upscale hotels put you into rooms that have stains on the floors and smell like pee. VIP IS VERY CLEAN ! No animal smell at all.

Had bonding time with my sister-in-law and our nieces at Beautify Nail Salon, a great experience! Stayed at The Tide's Inn. Would stay there again! Next time I will take advantage of their fire pit, popcorn, and mini-putt. And they're proximity to Parksville Beach and boardwalk.

Found it a problem to find coffee and breakfast in the town. Less cafes than before. The White Elephant for Thai food was well worth a visit. Food and staff excellent. We are walkers so no problem getting around. We always enjoy the art centre.

There's a wealth of things to do, in any season.

There's a wealth of things to do, in any season. From beaches and lookouts, to animal sanctuaries and day trips. There is something here for everyone. Everything in Parksville is close by and easy to access. My family loves coming back here!

We go every year to Parksville just for a short getaway.

We go every year to Parksville just for a short getaway. We love to walk the beach, Play mini golf (2 different places), go to Coombs and Little Qualicum Falls from there. Our favourite places to eat are The Black Bird Schnitzel Haus in Qualicum Beach, or Smitty's & Ricky's in Parksville.

Parksville is a pretty area to visit.

Parksville is a pretty area to visit. If you like smaller places to stay, I'd recommend coming here. There's lots to see and do. Had breakfast at the Brazen Poppy Cafe. Great food and coffee. Would have gone twice, but was closed one of the days we were in the area. Parksville is close to Coombs to see the goats on the roof and take a wander through the Market and all the stores in the area. Also a fairly short drive to Cathedral Grove which is a great place to walk around in all the large trees. There is a Butterfly World close by that was fascinating to go through. On our next trip to Vancouver Island, this would be on our list of places to come back to.

Not much to do, really; except relaxing in the hotel...

Not much to do, really; except relaxing in the hotel facilities and enjoying the scenery. Parksville could benefit greatly from a few more nice dining facilities and cafés. Also, unlike towns such as Campbell River, Parksville did not offer any opportunities for browsing and shopping.

Clean & bright spacious rooms, comfy beds, balcony & seating to enjoy ocean views, Nespresso coffee, bathrobes, extra blanket and 2 luggage racks...all very well thought out details to make our stay very comfortable. Featuring local artists' artwork throughout the hotel. The restaurant offered lots of healthy and delicious options featuring a variety of local sustainable seafood and getting seating at a window table to take in the magnificent panoramic view of the ocean and sea life activity.

For the past couple years we have been staying here and the staff are so amazing, so nice and friendly. They go above and beyond. Room was comfortable and clean. Really close to the beach and all that Parksville has to offer.
