Chateau Calcaire is an architecturally designed chateau in the French Haussmann style. Built with a natural limestone facade, the property has a prominent position facing Lake Okanagan, just 300 meters away, and the surrounding mountains. Black wrought iron doors, gates, fences and railing not only provide security but also offer a stunning juxtaposition next to the white limestone exterior. Tall windows flood the interior spaces with warm ambient light producing a convivial living space. Manicured gardens and bronze art works have been carefully inserted into the natural environment to offer reflection and interest.

Our passion in life is travel. We love to experience different cultures, unique countries, ethnic foods and, above all, the people that are the heart of these places. For us, getting lost in a city, wandering the streets and experiencing the local environment is the best part of our travel journey. Some of our favorite countries to visit have been Turkey and India. Countless trips to these historical and culturally unique regions has been exhilarating! Chateau Calcaire is located in one of Kelowna's most affluent neighbourhoods. A lakefront, tree lined street with a public beach at either end offers a serene environment. Just steps to Lake Okanagan, guests can enjoy swimming, sun bathing or relaxing. The Central Okanagan Small Boat Association (COSA) is directly across the street where sailing lessons and annual regatta can be enjoyed. Close by, Kelowna's H20 aquatic centre offers Kelowna's largest public pool, a lazy river, kids play pool and a Flow Rider for the more adventurous. Attached to the facility is a gym and multi purpose workout rooms. The facility is located beside soccer fields, ice rinks and walking trails exhibiting our local flora & fauna. The vibrant downtown core is a short 10 minute drive where you can enjoy a waterfront boardwalk, lakefront restaurants, bars, yacht club and pubs. Boat & jet skis are available for hire and, for adrenaline junkies, parasailing and sea plane tours can also be organized.
