The Cooper's Inn is a remarkable Registered Historic Landmark property. It is lovingly maintained and boasts a quaint charm that guests love. It is comfortable and unpretentious. The private adjoining walled garden provides the perfect retreat to experience the calm.

Neighborhood info

Shelburne is a truly unique Town and Region. The amazing Shelburne Harbour is one of the most remarkable natural harbours in the world. It is uniformly deep and very large and very well sheltered. Large vessels can generally navigate it with few challenges. The are more original pre-1800, original wooden structures here than any other community in Canada and arguably North America. Dock Street is comfortable. It's easy to get around. It feels old as its history yet as fresh as today and somehow expresses a sense of calm that you really have to experience in order to appreciate. Local Dock Street Museums have something for every interest. Watch a Dory being built or learn all about Whirligigs. The Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club and Sailing School attract both accomplished sailors and those that may want to learn the skills.
