This modern one bedroom suite is an art gallery. Clean, quiet spacious place to stay next to hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails. Perched at the top of the hill overlooking the town of Nelson, you will be living the artist's dream. Owner has ceramic/ stone studio in the back yard with shared access. If you are coming for an experience this is it! Book your art cation with Diane and learn Ceramics or stone carving! Admire the vew over Nelson and western sunset. There are patio chairs, beach umbrellas, and the barbecue to use for your convenience. Coming to ski in the winter? Ski and Snowboard racks are there for your convenience? 20 minute drive and the ski hill..... 5 minute walk to Snowshoe trails.
Diane has been a ceramic artist for 42 years and an educator for children,youth and adults for over 30 years. She is friendly, open, and an excellent hostess who will meet your needs in a warm friendly manner. She and her sweet dog sappho live above the suite,
This Suite with a stunning view Is in uphill Nelson. It comes with a midcentury modern flair, new appliances, and the most comfortable bed you could hope for! It is styled to be an Art Gallery and has local visual art for sale on the walls. An active ceramic studio is in the backyard and there is a bilingual self guided tour for you to peruse. Walk out of the driveway to hundreds of miles of trails on a hike or bike. The ski hill is 20 minutes away. And there are ample Nordic trails within 15 minutes of town. Diane provides a ski rack and locked bike rack. Several pairs of snow shoes size appropriate for anyone 5-5.7' are available to rent.
