Ideal for groups or family getaway, our 3 bedroom self contained basement suite with ground floor private entrance (Bedroom#1 Queen, #2 Queen and a futon(double)# 3 is corner secluded room-no door but with curtains for privacy with queen bed), provides a comfortable and homely atmosphere. The suite is well appointed with necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. With hosts living one level above, you're assured of prompt assistance whenever needed. Our location with its gorgeous view of Horse Lake is situated a short distance from the lake (but not waterfront), it is 2 minutes by car or within a 15 minute walk to a nearby boat launch. The area is perfectly suited for wildlife viewing, riding ATV and dirt bikes and water activities such as boating, kayaking, fishing, tubing, or swimming on the lake during the summer months . In the winter time, you can plan for an experience of a snowmobile adventure along cross country trails or ice fishing in the frozen lake. Horse lake has 2 boat launches. One is by the Skadays Bridge where people mostly swim because this boat launch is not too busy in the summer compared to the other one. There is no beach or picnic area in both boat launches. But there is a nearby resort and guests can rent more canoes, boats, kayaks, etc. We also have 2 kayaks that we can lend to you ( if we are not using them) to have fun in Horse lake and we can provide life vests (some sizes are available) . You need a truck/vehicle to haul them to the boat lunch which is just 2-3 minutes drive away. There is a pergola deck with outdoor furniture and propane fire pit table with cool night lights and fairy lights suitable for guests entertainment, while offering a stunning view of the lake and opportunities to observe abundant wildlife (deers mostly) in the yard. There is a strong cellular phone signal in the area. Free Wifi. Shopping and dining is just 7-10 minutes drive from our location. There are 3 Grocery stores and a lot of restaurants & food chain

Imperial Ranchettes Subdivision in Horse Lake is one of the best in the area. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The neighbors are warm and friendly people.
