The Shawnigan Suite features three different themed rooms: the Lake room, with an ensuite a large walk-in shower; the Elephant room, featuring elephant-themed decor, a queen bed and a 4-piece bathroom; or the separate Loft, complete with a King-size bed, 3-piece bathroom. All have their own entrance, kitchenette, and private deck with quiet garden views to enjoy. Close to Shawnigan Lake private school and Brentwood College School.Walking distance to the nearby Shawnigan village and Shawnigan Lake. Rooms include a continental breakfast to enjoy in your room. Guests can enjoy the many hiking and biking trails ,Kinsol Trestle, baldy Mountain or Cobble Hill Mountain. Many water activities are available on Shawnigan Lake .
We love the outdoors- whether it is cycling the Trans Canada Trail, kayaking in Cowichan Bay, Shawnigan Lake, or Mill Bay, or hiking the many mountains, we feel lucky to call Shawnigan Lake our home and adventure play ground!
In our NEIGHBORHOOD, we have local mountains to hike, walking trails, Trans Canada Trail to bike or walk, kayaking, whale watching, Kinsol Trestle to view, many wineries, restaurants, gardens- Butchart Gardens- a ferry boat ride away, and rural setting. A great place to stop for the night or two- then move on north of the island to Caving a few hours away, Oldest trees on Vancouver Island a few hours away, Goats on the roof- 1 hour away, Kayaking day tours in Nanaimo 1 hour away, and Murals in Chemainus.
