DesBrisay Museum: Distance: 1.6 km (~3 mins driving) About: Located right in the heart of town, this museum highlights the local heritage of Bridgewater, featuring fascinating displays on Mi'kmaw heritage, historic regional photography, and colourful local folk art. Woodland Gardens Park (The Duck Pond): Distance: 2.0 km (~3 mins driving) About: Surrounding the DesBrisay Museum, this serene 25-acre park features well-maintained walking trails, a playground, and a favorite local duck pond. Pijinuiskaq Park: Distance: 2.6 km (~5 mins driving) About: A beautiful, peaceful waterfront park located downtown along the LaHave River. It features interpretive panels highlighting the river's deep historical significance to the Mi'kmaw people and hosts live outdoor music events in the summer. Bridgewater Centennial Trail: Distance: 3.3 km (~6 mins driving) About: An 8 km multi-use trail following an old rail bed along the river. It's fantastic for cycling, running, or hiking and connects out to a massive 125 km regional trail network.
