The Beach Barn sits right in the heart of Kingsburg, a little village wrapped in between two of Nova Scotia's most beautiful beaches—Kingsburg Beach and Hirtle's Beach. The village is comprised of Cape Code style houses and big views in every direction. Kingsburg and the general area is a hiker's, cyclist's and surfer's paradise. There are fabulous hikes accessible right from your doorsteps and scenic roads for cycling. Lunenburg, the Unesco World Heritage Site and home to some great restaurants and galleries, is a 15 minute drive. Mahone Bay, home to the Three Sisters, is a half hour drive. You'll definitely want a car here, since there are no shops in the village. If you need food, there's a delightful little deli and restaurant about 5km away. This is really a place for downtime, relaxation, reading books, beach combing, swimming, and surfing.
