We are a family with young kids and, cliche as it sounds, fell in love with Texada on a short visit. We love ocean views and this cozy log cabin was the perfect fit! We love that this island has a real sense of community, but also is a perfect getaway from the city and a place for memories to be made. A place for recharging one's senses where people are real and super friendly! We love sharing this island experience with our guests! ​

FEATURES 2 Bedrooms in a cozy 850sqft Waterfront log cabin/beach cottage. Huge deck. Sleeps 5. 1 extra-comfy King sized bed,1 Queen sized bed on main floor. Low ceiling loft (5') has 2 Twin beds best suited for ages 7 and up. (King sized bed is two XL twin beds combined using King sized sheets, exact same size as a King.) Flat driveway - easy access to cabin, not 50 steps down to the cabin. Self-contained 20 year old log cabin cottage. Full Kitchen, laundry facilities and 1 Bathroom. We provide complimentary coffee and tea, however just in case your coffee routine is important, please bring your favourite KCups of choice and/or coffee of choice! We have a variety of coffee makers to satisfy: a Keurig coffee maker, a brew and drip coffee maker (diner style), French press. We also have a coffee grinder. Huge deck overlooking the gorgeous view equipped with loungers, Red adirondack chairs, picnic table. We allow pets. Pets incur extra charges, please enquire.

Perfect for R&R, Texada Island is a small, self sustained community - with 2 grocery / liquor stores , gas station, post office, restaurants, marina, provincial parks, and a unique quarry lake full of minerals. Wildlife abounds on the island: try spotting seals, dolphins, whales, blue heron, eagles, kingfisher, blue jays, black tail deer. Bring your kayaks, paddle boats, sunscreen, beach shoes or boots.
