The Stirton House is located in scenic Shelburne Nova Scotia. This harbour town offers a central location to surrounding destinations such as Cresent beach. Many white sand beaches this area has the warmest climate in Nova Scotia making it a very desirable destination. There are many local attractions on the harbour, and great food available in the town. Come join us!
Welcome to our home. We have made this our dream to host a top rated Airbnb. We are constantly upgrading The Stirton House so that when you come to stay again it will be a new experience. We love hearing suggestions and ideas from our guests to help us in this process as you are who we most want to make the best experience for. Cheers! David and Pauline
Being central to several near by attractions as well as having several local amenities and places of interest. There are three museums located near the harbour which include The Dory museum, The museum by the sea and the Ross-Thompson house and museum. On Water street you will find local dining at the Ships Galley Pub and Eatery, The Emerald Light as well as the Boxing Rock brewery for those wishing to try the local brews. On King street just a few minutes drive you sill find the Scotia Lunch which gives that mid century diner feel and for those seafood lovers there is Mr. Fish as well. If pizza is what you desire A-1 pizza will fit the bill for you. Chinese cuisine is at Luong's Restaurant near the corner of King and Water street. We recommend planning trips to the multitude of places to see within and hours drive of Shelburne.
