“This is a pretty unique property- top floor of a converted warehouse. Huge rooms, great decor and very good bedding. It was a very good value and we really enjoyed our stay here. Caution if you cannot do steps as is on the second floor.”

With vintage and antique pieces that complement its historic architecture, the space reflects Windsor’s rich history. Only 700 meters from Caesars Casino and offering front-row views of the Detroit City skyline, it’s a one-of-a-kind stay with convenience at your doorstep!
Jesse and Tawnie, owners of local vintage business Racks & Ruin, and being history buffs ourselves, when we purchased 635 University Ave our minds were immediately racing. We chose to create an experience that allows our guests to spend a night or two in the roaring 20s. With The Warehouse space already equipped with industrial features, straight from running a business during the prohibition, all we had to do was give it some life! True to its era, The Warehouse is accompanied by vintage pieces sourced by us directly. From nic nacs to furniture, each piece has a story to tell. We hope our guests appreciate every historical detail and experience a stay that is unique like no other. Following your experience, we appreicate any and all feedback!
