Your unit is a private studio basement apartment and includes a kitchen, a bathroom, a double bed (a twin bed is available upon request), a living area and a dining area. You can enjoy the sitting area on the front yard (the backyard is not for guests) and the view of the front garden. Be prepared to be visited by a variety of birds thanks to the local parks, trails and golf courses in the neighbourd and the bird feeders on the property. Cleaning services are provided weekly for an extra fee. Please let the host know in advance if you require cleaning services. Our home is a semi-detached house in a quiet, family friendly neighbourhood. Please be mindful of this and be mindful of the designated quiet times. There is a lot of nature to be enjoyed in this neighbourhood. There are many parks, trails, golf courses that can be explored on foot or by bike. Groceries can be purchased at the nearby Food Basics (approximately a 15 minutes walk), Loblaws (about a 20 minute walk) or Walmart (about a 5 minute drive). There are some local bakeries that can be enjoyed as well. Parking is available on the driveway. The host will provide details about where to park on the driveway.

I have been living in this neighbourhood for 20+ years. During the spring and summer months, I spend most of my time gardening, reading, and camping. I have a vegetable garden as well as a pollinator garden. I absolutely love the outdoors so I spend as much time outside as I can! I also run a book club. I particularly enjoy reading historical fiction. From time to time, you may hear me playing the piano. I am very fond of music, musicals and visits to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

This is a very peacful pocket in the city of Toronto. It is surrounded by nature. Smythe Park is just down the street and it is a little wetlands area with a lot of biodiversity. It also has a public outdoor swimming pool that you can enjoy during the summer months. There are two golf courses in the neighbourhood which add to the wildlife. One of the golf courses is public and only a 10 minute walk away. The Humber Trail is also a convenient walk and leads to the famous James Gardens as well as other parks. You can walk the trail or rent bikes from the main intersection and take a ride. You are a bus ride away from Bloor West Village and the Junction where you can enjoy restaurants, bars and boutiques.
