Next to the First gondola lift in central Grindelwald, Hotel Alte Post offers a small spa section and a traditional restaurant. All rooms have a balcony with mountain views. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are standard room facilities. All rooms have a bathroom, work desk and traditional pine furniture. Breakfast is buffet style and includes local products. Regional specialties can also be enjoyed at the restaurant. Spa facilities include a sauna, steam bath and small fitness studio. A massage service is available upon request. In the winter, guests arriving on Mondays receive welcome drinks and snacks. Grindelwald offers 103 miles of ski slopes and 43 lifts. The ski bus stops across from the Alte Post. In summer, the area offers 217 miles of hiking routes, a golf course and plenty of tennis courts. The resort also has paragliding and swimming facilities.
