We are Percy and Anna Kirkman, owners of our 4vallees4saisons professional chalet rental and sales business in La Tzoumaz and Chamonix. We love mountains and mountain sports and spend our time sharing that love with our two young daughters and our older sons. We are fluent in both English and French. Originally from England, we both followed international careers within Procter & Gamble before making a life-changing move to the mountains when we met. After becoming the keyholders for Interhome in La Tzoumaz as our first business idea, we created the 4vallees4saisons brand to actively grow our portfolio to over 70 properties by offering a high quality bi-lingual service to both our travellers and our property owners. We believe the regions of La Tzoumaz and Chamonix are both magical and we are passionate about the beauty and opportunities of the alpine area. We have access to some of the best skiing in Europe, hundreds of kilometres of majestic hiking, fantastic mountain bike trails, wonderful family footpaths, and it is a delight to visit all year round. We want other people to enjoy La Tzoumaz and Chamonix all year round, not just now, but into the future.

Highlights This traversing apartment is perfectly situated only a short walk from the main La Tzoumaz ski-lift and has balconies to the front and rear. The uninterrupted views across the valley are incredible. The apartment benefits from an open kitchen/living/dining area with a cosy dining corner and end-to-end windows to maximise the views. Bedrooms & Bathrooms The apartment sleeps up to 6 people in two bedrooms: - The first bedroom is fitted with a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, and patio doors leading to the rear south-facing balcony with view up towards the road above. - The second bedroom is fitted with bunk beds for four people, a chest of drawers, and patio doors leading to the rear south-facing balcony with view up towards the road above. The bathroom has a sink, bath with hand shower, hairdryer, and WC. La Tzoumaz Apartment LaForet 23 is equipped with a high chair and a folding travel cot (bedding not provided) suitable for children under 2 years old, and a second is available on demand on arrival. Please note that in accordance with the manufacturer's safety instructions, additional mattresses are not provided with the cots. Equipment The open kitchen has all the basics: a fridge, oven, 3-ring hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, filter coffee-machine, plus fondue and raclette sets for a traditional Swiss evening here in the mountains. Please note that there is no dishwasher. The central heating radiators in each room can be individually adjusted to your needs. There is a shared (coin-operated) washing machine and dryer available in the building. The opportunity to buy discounted ski lessons (15%) and rental (15%) and have them ready for your arrival (conditions apply) after booking a winter holiday with us (December to April) Free summer lift passes for the number of adults/children stated at time of booking (early July to late August) Kindly note that the final 50% payment will be collected 8 weeks before arrival.

The centre of La Tzoumaz benefits from an outdoor ice-skating rink in winter, and a children's playground area in summer, with a rope-based agility park alongside more traditional equipment such as slides. A fun channel system with running water is built into the hillside to provide plenty of entertainment for older children too. At the exit of the village the Domus playground is a fabulous spot, often bathed in late afternoon sunshine, with swings, a zipline, see-saw, climbing frames and even old tractors to clamber on. It is overlooked by an outdoor cafe (check opening hours) providing drinks, snacks and ice-creams. There are rabbits, donkeys, goats, and there is also rock-climbing on the local crag in the background (contact us for equipment and instructors). The Maison de la Foret has a cafe area for drinks and snacks (check opening hours), wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail with hands-on activities to borrow such as bird-whistling and learning to draw. The Nature Trail has disabled parking and is accessible to wheelchairs and children's buggies.
