We are Percy and Anna Kirkman, owners of our 4vallees4saisons professional chalet rental and sales business in La Tzoumaz and Chamonix. We love mountains and mountain sports and spend our time sharing that love with our two young daughters and our older sons. We are fluent in both English and French. Originally from England, we both followed international careers within Procter & Gamble before making a life-changing move to the mountains when we met. After becoming the keyholders for Interhome in La Tzoumaz as our first business idea, we created the 4vallees4saisons brand to actively grow our portfolio to over 90 properties by offering a high quality bi-lingual service to both our travellers and our property owners. We believe the regions of La Tzoumaz and Chamonix are both magical and we are passionate about the beauty and opportunities of the alpine area. We have access to some of the best skiing in Europe, hundreds of kilometres of majestic hiking, fantastic mountain bike trails, wonderful family footpaths, and it is a delight to visit all year round. We want other people to enjoy La Tzoumaz and Chamonix all year round, not just now, but into the future.

This classic and comfortable two-bedroom apartment is located in the heart of La Tzoumaz, within the 4 Vallées ski area. Situated in a mountain setting close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and the tennis court, the apartment enjoys open views over the valley, surrounding mountains and the village street. A balcony provides a pleasant outdoor space to take in the alpine atmosphere throughout the year. The apartment sleeps up to 6 people and features two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom is equipped with two sets of bunk beds (4 single beds in total, each measuring 190 x 90 cm), making it ideal for children or groups. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed measuring 200 x 160 cm.There is one bathroom with a single washbasin, a bath with shower attachment, WC, and a hairdryer. The living and dining area includes a television and a fireplace (wood-burning), creating a cosy space to relax after a day in the mountains. Cable TV is available, and the apartment opens onto a balcony with mountain and village views. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, electric kettle, blender and toaster. Everything needed for preparing meals at home is provided. The apartment is well suited for families with children. Baby cots are available on request. Here you can sit on the balcony and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of village life. There's always something happening outside - in summer the central square is transformed into a children's playground and in winter it becomes a small outdoor ice rink. On winter weekends and celebration days you'll have a front row seat over the festivities. Internet is not installed in this property. Upon request, we will supply a portable high-speed WIFI unit for your own private use, for an additional fee of 69 CHF for one week, or 119 CHF for two weeks. Kindly note that the final 50% payment will be collected 8 weeks before arrival.

The centre of La Tzoumaz benefits from an outdoor ice-skating rink in winter, and a children's playground area in summer, with a rope-based agility park alongside more traditional equipment such as slides. A fun channel system with running water is built into the hillside to provide plenty of entertainment for older children too. At the exit of the village the Domus playground is a fabulous spot, often bathed in late afternoon sunshine, with swings, a zipline, see-saw, climbing frames and even old tractors to clamber on. It is overlooked by an outdoor cafe (check opening hours) providing drinks, snacks and ice-creams. There are rabbits, donkeys, goats, and there is also rock-climbing on the local crag in the background (contact us for equipment and instructors). The Maison de la Foret has a cafe area for drinks and snacks (check opening hours), wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail with hands-on activities to borrow such as bird-whistling and learning to draw. The Nature Trail has disabled parking and is accessible to wheelchairs and children's buggies.
