In winter you can go straight from the front door to the cross-country ski track after a good breakfast, in summer the track serves as a hiking trail. Experience over 100 km of cross-country trails in the beautiful, snow-drenched Goms. Late spring, summer and autumn also offer numerous opportunities to explore the area. The former stable has 80 square meters of living space. You enter a small entrance hall with a cloakroom. The ambience will already inspire you here, because the few steps up and down are covered with ancient, hand-sanded and hand-planed wooden planks. Above you will be greeted by a modern, well thought-out and made-to-measure wooden kitchen with induction hob, oven and dishwasher. There is no lack of equipment. You will find everything you need for cooking and, of course, plenty of dishes and glasses. The large wooden table invites you to a cozy get-together and the comfortable leather sofas to watch TV, read or just admire the surroundings with their old, sun-burned Valais houses from the large windows. Here you are guaranteed to find peace and quiet from the often hectic everyday life. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms each with 1 king-size double bed (180 cm), 1 bathroom with shower and plenty of cupboards. The absolute highlight is your own private sauna with a starry sky. Here you can relax perfectly after a long day on the slopes or hiking. A handcrafted, solid wooden table with benches in the outside area rounds off this real gem. You can't expect more from a perfect vacation. Bodmen, part of the community of Blitzingen, is almost car-free, the sound of the Rhone in front of the house, a wonderful backdrop, lots of activities in the vicinity and perfectly furnished accommodation in a historic old stable.
