Forget your worries in this spacious and serene place. Plenty of room to unwind and relax. Enjoy the lovely treks/hikes just 2 minutes away or take a stroll along the cobble ways, passing wine yards and the old center, or enjoy a swim in the river, surrounded by luscious trees, the choices are endless. If you are more active, the climbing and blouder areas are near by. After a day out, you can come back and chill on the terrace and simply enjoy the tranquility the house area has to offer.
I enjoy being in the nature/forest and like to hike, climb, bike and snowboard, and this is why I chose this area. I enjoy outdoor festivals and in the summer there are many around this area. There are so many things to do to enjoy the outdoors, but also the culture and history. For example you can take a cable car to the mountain peaks, visit Bellizona and all it's castles, have a lovely walk around the unique old towns of Chirinco, Anzonico, Cavagnago and Sobrio only 10min drive or simply hike up. Giornico has a unique history and is part of the Swiss Heritage Sites of National Importance. It has two Roman bridges, and 3 Churches and the Museum Leventina. This town in 1478, with an army of 600 defeated invasive troops of 10'000. A memorial marks this formidable courage
Very quite area during the evening. Bus Stop is only 3mins away. Free parking behind house or next to bus stop. There are also parking spaces, just underneath the Shrine, 3minutes in the direction of Airolo. There are three Grottos/Resturaunts, where you can have a great dinner and the river is only 5minutes down, where you can cool down during the summer and just chill. Supermarket is only 3minutes away. A coffee shop/Bar is only 2mins away on the main road. The starting point of trails/hikes/treks are just 1min from the house marked in red and white. Biking treks are also only a few minutes away. Ski area of Airolo is only 30min away.
