With room for up to four guests, the 60 m² two-room apartment is ideal for couples or families. The heart of the apartment is the large living area with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. Above the living room is an open mezzanine with a double bed – a cosy sleeping spot under the starry sky (not fully blackout). There is also a separate bedroom with a double bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchen featuring Kuhn Rikon pans, Zwilling knives, a De'Longhi Nespresso machine, Brita sodaONE sparkling water maker, toaster, kettle and cutlery. A modern bathroom with a bathtub and an inviting balcony with wonderful views over the valley complete the living experience. Practical and hassle-free: free parking right outside the house, Wi-Fi, a desk for working, ski and bike storage, and a washing machine in the basement (available on request). Casa Castanea is nestled in the heart of nature in the Aletsch Arena, just a five-minute drive above Mörel-Filet. Its location between Mörel-Filet and the Betten Dorf mid-station offers something for all ages. In summer, the Mediterranean climate, mountain lakes, hiking trails and bike routes right on the doorstep invite you to explore. In winter, the slopes and winter hiking trails of the Aletsch Arena await. Day trips can take you to Ernen, Brig or Sion – or even across the Italian border to Domodossola in just 30 minutes. With a car, VIVA is the ideal base for activities in and around the Aletsch Arena. The apartment is located between the Mörel valley station, the Greich station (cable car directly up to Riederalp) and the Betten Dorf mid-station (cable car directly up to Bettmeralp). All three stations can be reached by car within just 10 minutes and offer parking facilities.
